A mood booster drink is the one everyone craves be it any season. A healthy mood booster drink is what everyone needs to drink for a cheerful morning and an energized day.


We all know that adopting a healthy eating regime benefits the body, helps us to lose weight, keeping us fit and can be linked to achieving a glowing skin. But what about drinking healthily? With as many nutritional values, it is just as important to sip on to healthy drinks to maintain a healthy body.

Water is the best choice for quenching your thirst. Coffee and tea, without added sugars, are healthy choices too. Some drinks should be consumed in less amount or in moderation, including fruit juice, milk / dairy based drinks, and those made with low-calorie sugars, like diet drinks. Alcohol in moderation can be healthy for some people, but not everyone. It’s generally best to avoid sugary drinks like soda, sports beverages, and energy drinks.

In its simplest form, water is the most common choice when it comes to drinks. It is an essential for human beings. Drinking water is essential for keeping the body hydrated, refreshed and full of energy. Drinking plenty of H2O regulates the body's fluid balance, which in turn helps to transport nutrients around the body, control temperature and digest food.

Smoothies on the other hand can help you lose excess body weight without skipping any meals. The fruits and berries that are used to prepare these drinks serve as the best companions for keeping your body healthy and feeling cooler on a hot summer morning. The enzymes present in fruits help dissolve body fat and clear up your circulatory system.

The summer season calls for refreshing and hydrating drinks which rejuvenates us within minutes. Curating these drinks does not necessarily require sugar syrups, aerated drinks, flavorings and all that jazz. These too can be prepared with low sugar content, calories and caffeine.

A versatile summer cooler can be prepared by adding watermelon, mint and lemon slush to a concoction that has been prepared by boiling ‘Giloy’, Ginger together with water (gives you a neutral base) and refrigerating it overnight.
